Saint-Nazaire

Saint-Nazaire has been labeled a city of art and history. A well-deserved distinction for this city at the mouth of the Loire, which pays particular attention to the link between heritage and creation. In particular, by developing art in the public space, as underlined by the Estuary route of the Voyage à Nantes.

The School of Fine Arts of Saint-Nazaire has existed since 1985, and has of course participated in this desire for artistic influence of the territory, to form with Nantes the metropolis of the arts. 1000m² of space are available for artistic and cultural practices: drawing, painting, ceramics, engraving, sculpture, multimedia. The Beaux-Arts de Saint-Nazaire also has kilns for firing ceramics, an engraving workshop with two intaglio presses, a digital workshop, high-performance audiovisual equipment, etc.
The establishment has taken up a central artistic position in the heart of the city, alongside the Theater, opposite the multidisciplinary venue Le Life.
